THE SYDNEY TEA FESTIVAL
CELEBRATING 5 YEARS!
The Sydney Tea Festival is back at Carriageworks on Sunday, 19 August and celebrating its 5th Birthday. Festivalgoers will again be spoilt with a range of world-class loose-leaf teas, and a refreshed program of workshops, talks and special features.
Spend the day wandering around a vibrant tea market that features dozens of specialty and artisan tea stalls, showcasing teas and tisanes of all kinds. You'll get to taste them all, with your tea tasting cup in hand, and are sure to discover a new favourite.
Pick up some hand-made teaware, blend your very own tea, and just try to resist the sweet and savoury treats on offer. There's also a program of workshops and talks hosted by some of Australia's leading specialists.
New festival features in 2018 include The Tasting Table, an area where tea lovers can participate in intimate group tastings with tea purveyors, and a tea and food pairing degustation dinner at Automata, in honour of the festival's 5th birthday.
If you love tea, don't miss this event!
