Highland FM’s 100% Home-Grown has brought together its featured Artists of the Month into the one big concert. The stunning array of local talent includes:


SHARDAE EWART- ARTIST OF THE MONTH - JUNE

7:00PM:

Shardae Ewart is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from the Southern Highlands. Her unique and dynamic voice, combined with her emotive style of songwriting, draws inspiration from both traditional and contemporary artists across a wide range of genres.

Shardae's performances are characterised by her warm and captivating stage presence. Her commanding sound has the power to capture the attention of any audience, regardless of its size and her performances are always heartfelt and genuine.

With her powerful vocals and impressive guitar skills, Shardae has quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile musician in the local music scene. Her ability to connect with her listeners on an emotional level makes her performances truly unforgettable.

THE POSTCARDS- ARTIST OF THE MONTH - APRIL

8:00PM:

The Postcards are a three-piece power-packed indie rock band hailing from the Southern Highlands. Their sound is a nod to the golden age of rock, heavily influenced by classic bands such as Deep Purple, T-Rex and Slade. Their music is a perfect blend of vintage and modern sounds, with Hamilton Saeck’s commanding vocals, Josh D’Iorio’s blazing guitar solos and Oscar Lobban’s thunderous drumming.

The Postcards’ live performances are nothing short of electrifying, with their raw energy and undeniable chemistry on stage. They have built a loyal following of fans who are drawn to their distinctive sound and infectious vibe.

BONG BONG ALL-STARS - ARTIST OF THE MONTH - MAY

9:00PM:

The Bong Bong All-Stars, a group of four highly talented musicians, deliver a one of a kind sound that fuses rock, funk and reggae into a unique and captivating groove. Their infectious energy and dedication to creating an unforgettable musical experience has earned them a devoted following amongst fans of all generations.

Mike Hammond, the band’s resident jack of all trades, wows audiences with his smooth guitar licks, soulful trumpet playing and cruisy vocals. Jeremy Butterworth, the lead vocalist and guitarist, infuses the band’s sound with his indie rock roots, giving every song a special spark of energy and creativity.

Nigel Anderson holds down the low end with his masterful bass grooves, providing the foundation for the band’s catchy rhythms. On drums, Dave Helman brings a wealth of experience and talent to the table, having played with some of the biggest names in the industry.
