Sydney based singer/songwriter Ellen Mara, has spent years fine-tuning her sound, and the end result is an authentic blend of Soul, R&B and Contemporary Jazz. Ten years ago, a little indigo ukulele found its way into Julie’s arms. She was immediately drawn to its gentle, cheeky nature, and so began the tale of girl meets uke. She has since grown into a vibrant performer and teacher, and has worked alongside a variety of artists in the scene - including author Maria Speyer and songwriting wizards Paul Hankinson and Lior.
