Double-Headed 90's Electro Rock Revival:
DEF FX and Caligula Join Forces for the Never Say Never Tour.
This November, 90’s oz rock behemoths DEF FX and Caligula hit Australia’s east coast together for the first time since 1996 for the Never Say Never Tour.
DEF FX and Caligula were Australia’s trailblazers of electronica in the best era of rock where everyone moshed and danced without smart devices in their hands.
The NEVER SAY NEVER tour announcement coincides with Universal Music’s first digital release of DEF FX’s ARIA Gold Album, 1997’s MAJICK featuring the triple J mega hits, Psychoactive Summer, Spell On You and I’ll Be Your Majick, which DEF FX will deliver onstage for the Never Say Never tour in original 90’s style, along with indie hits, Surfers of the Mind and Sex Game Sucker.
Caligula will blow the roof when they sound off with their chart-toppers, Tears of A Clown, Roundabout, So Fine, Before, and The Bluff. Original members, Ash Rothschild and Jamie Fonti continue to crush and captivate audiences with their powerful 90’s rock presence.
DEF FX’s enigmatic front woman, rock goddess, witch and bestselling author, FIONA HORNE is an ambassador for the music charity, SUPPORT ACT and a portion of the NEVER SAY NEVER tour ticket sales will be donated in support of Ausmusic T-Shirt Day fundraising efforts.
The NEVER SAY NEVER tour will feature special guest, female fronted bands in support of Australian Women in Music:
Melbourne – fellow 90’s legends, MOLER
Brisbane – Sabrina Laurie & the Cosmic Shore
Sydney – Laura Panic Band
Also on the powerhouse bill are guest dj's playing 90’s rock hits to complete the teleportation back in time to the best decade of epic music.
Never Say Never — Don’t miss this opportunity to party like it’s 1996 with two of Australia’s most loved 90’s electro rock bands, DEF FX and Caligula and special guest for the Lansdowne, Laura Panic Band.
We acknowledge that this event is held on the stolen lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
