After a couple of successful years dropping stand out singles ‘Over Again’ and ‘Save My Name’ which saw indie pop aficionados Dekleyn (pronounced Decline) reach new heights and further develop their knack for writing memorable pop songs, the band return with new song ‘Did We Move Too Fast’. Teaming up once again with Mark Zito (Fractures) on co-production, the track is an emotional, heartfelt pop mover that would feel right at home at a roller skating rink or teen film end of summer montage.

Touring the new single with their first headline shows in over 12 months, Dekleyn announce that they will be performing shows at Sydney’s Oxford Arts Factory and Melbourne’s Penny’s Bandroom with the pair stating that “We’re more than excited to be back playing shows again. Whilst writing and recording these new songs we couldn’t help but fantasize the feeling of playing them live in front of people again and now it’s finally happening! Absolutely cannot wait.”

Made up of Justin Kleyn and Matthew DeCelis, Dekleyn have seen a plethora of support from all corners of the globe, whilst amassing a solid fan base with their ever evolving indie pop soundscape. Already championed by both triple j and Unearthed, as well as tastemakers such as JOY 94.9, Coles Radio, Energy Groove Radio, Tone Deaf, EARMILK, Acid Stag, Beautiful Buzzz, Atwood Magazine, Farrago Mag, Amnplify and more, the duo are continuing to impress with their effervescent productions and meaningful take on songwriting. Whilst recently signing with Believe for distribution and Raida Artists for bookings, Dekleyn have been prolific in both their touring and release output. Following on from their debut self titled album in 2020, the duo have nabbed support slots alongside Confidence Man, Fergus James, Fractures, CLYPSO and Angus Dawson, with upcoming headline shows at Oxford Arts Factory and Penny’s Bandroom.
