CALLUM WYLIE

After touring and performing successfully behind his previous two EPs (Tomorrows Sun 2016 & Listen 2019) Callum is showing his maturity as an artist with his debut album 'MARFA'.

The record was conceived on a formative trip to the United States in 2016 taking Wylie from Seattle to LA, to the middle of the desert in Marfa, TX and finally ending with 10 days holed up in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

As the songs began to take shape over the years following, producer, engineer and collaborator Andrew Beck saw a vision for a full band backing the songs akin to the music of Wylie’s Americana contemporaries such as Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell. The record is a mixture of live to tape recordings at Sydney's Golden Retriever Studios and overdubs at Beck's Riversong Studios on The NSW Central Coast. The album is equal parts warm and gritty. No stone was left unturned and as a result, Callum's debut is the best representation of him as an artist yet - powerful, honest and introspective.

BEK SARKOEZY

Bek Sarkoezy started out in south-west Sydney at the age of 17, playing quirky 90s covers in local cafes. These days Bek is accompanied by a full band performing her own lyrically-driven songs that draw on indie-rock and alternative influences. You're sure to catch her at venues across Sydney, her shimmering vocals wafting over intricate guitar melodies and soulful stringed accompaniments. Her debut single 'HOLY MOLY' was released in 2019 to a glowing reception, with her anticipated EP to follow shortly.

STEPHEN CHIKAZAZA

Chikazaza’s musical journey has been balanced with negotiating cultures and navigating numerous career changes.

The Zimbabwean born singer-songwriter is the son of a religious minister and social entrepreneur mother.

Stephen grew up singing in church, school choirs and community events.

During his teenage years he was a member of a vocal quartet, which sparked his love for songwriting and harmony.

After high school Chikazaza moved to Denver USA. This experience added a depth to his cultural & musical exploration and he quickly found himself immersed in the local gospel scene, nurtured by artists and musicians alike.

After moving to Sydney, Chikazaza released his soulful debut album 'Familiar People' in 2019.

He describes the project as an ode to family and friends who have supported his musical pursuits. The body of work merges his earthy voice and poetic songwriting skills, over thoughtful arrangements reminiscent of classic soul, jazz, folk and gospel records.

The best is yet to come for Chikazaza as he continues to harness his craft. With new material on the way, Chikazaza draws inspiration from his experiences, his creatives and mentors which include some of the most luminary voices of this generation.
