AINSLEY FARRELL

Ainsley Farrell is a Sydney-based artist from the United States. Since the release of Dark Hours in May 2017, the EP has received airplay from radio stations all around Australia, including national station Triple J. Farrell was named FBi Radio's Independent Artist of the Week following her first single release ‘Lady Long Hair’. In 2018, her song ‘Dark Hours’ was featured in the Netflix documentary, Afflicted.

Farrell showcased as an official artist at SXSW in 2018. She performed for Sounds Australia followed by a tour around the U.S., playing Sofar Sounds in NYC. Her single ‘Walls’ was one of FBi Radio’s Most Played Tracks of 2018. The single also gained support from Triple J and Double J radio. In 2019, she performed as an official artist at Bigsound and took part in a co-writing session with Afie Jurvanen from Bahamas.

She has supported Australian artists Julia Jacklin, Stella Donnelly, Middle Kids, Angie McMahon, and New Zealand artists Nadia Reid and Merk. ‘The Way Back’, released this past June, was the first single from her upcoming album. EAST DENISTONE

Hot off the back of his third EP that’s awash with lush textures, beautiful melodies and evocative lyricism, East Denistone’s sound can be described as atmospheric folk.

Akin to Bon Iver or Ben Howard, the Inner West based artist will be sure to draw you in and twirl you around a range of emotions, with ‘I Don’t Know, I Still Care’, always aiming to promote the discussion of emotional expression and honest introspection.

The project steps in front of a live audience after its pandemic hiatus with a stripped back arrangement, promising an intimate delivery of songs that dwell on existence, isolation and the construct of cultural norms...not to mention a plethora of two part harmonies.
