It'll be down to a good old fashioned coin toss to detirmine which of these powerful beings will play top of the bill in a night that'll sure bring goosebumps to even the most hardy music lovers in the room. Both no strangers to the pub, our favourite sons will bring their bands for a night of celebration early March. 

JB Paterson, hailing from QLD but realistically always on the road, is a roving blue-collar songwriter and producer. Inspired by traditional folk & blues music, appropriating ancient melodies with a strong focus on lyrics performed on guitar and piano. Compared to songwriters Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt and Bob Dylan. In late 2022 he signed to Holiday Maker Records and released his 3rd LP ‘Springtime is Coming’ to great response with heavy rotation on ABC Country and Double J. 

Karl S Williams is blues, roots, folk and rock… and Americana, if you will… but not at as you know it. Karl’s music is steeped in the swamp water of the cane country of Northern NSW, the landscape of his childhood. His songs are a distillation of life, love and the human condition. Timeless and deeply rooted in tradition, yet ever conversant with the present. As a performer, he is at once beautifully vulnerable and then transcendent.

Delivered with powerful conviction that takes your breath away - whether solo or with his incandescent band — a Karl S. Williams performance is frequently referred to as a visceral and ‘spiritual experience’, leaving an audience slightly altered in the best way possible.
