As the uptake of social distancing continues in this time of uncertainty, many artists from across the globe have taken to social media to give the fans what they want, streaming performances live from their living rooms.

The recent ban placed on public gatherings over 100 people have also sparked local venues, event organisers and promoters to take to the internet to help support fans and artists and tackle the unprecedented loss of revenue they're facing.

If you're practising social distancing, we got you're back. We've collated some of our fave live-streamed performances coming to a screen near you (we'll keep this page updated with the most recent discoveries). Let's make the best of a bad situation hey!

DJ Tigerlily

Every Sunday @ 5pm AEST

Sydney based DJ and producer DJ Tigerlily will be providing the good vibes every Sunday straight from her backyard, kicking off at 5 pm AEST. She'll also be joined by some special guests too so stay tuned! You can catch her weekly live sets via Facebook and Instagram.

Peking Duk

For those that aren't able to catch that live stream of your fave act. Aussie electronic duo Peking Duk have got your back, uploading a fortnightly mix to their youtube account to see you through your isolation lockdown. Check out their first mix HERE.

Kira Puru's Cabin Fever

Earlier this week rising star Kira Puru called on Aussie radio stations to play exclusively local content to help support artists through royalties. Since then the Melbourne muso has launched her own live Instagram series called KP's Cabin Fever, talking to local artists about the direct effects of the lockdown. Joining Kira for the first stream will be Mo'Ju (F.K.A Mojo Juju) live from 5 pm AEST tonight (Friday 20 March). Tune in HERE.

MSO Live

With MSO announcing the suspension of all concerts with audiences, from March 16 until April 13, the MSO will continue to perform some gigs behind closed doors which they'll be live-streaming for free. The series kicked off with Russian composer Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade at Hamer Hall on Monday. Other live-streams slated include To Bach and Back on Thursday, March 26.

Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo

In other non-gig related live stream news, our pals at Zoos Victoria have set up live streams in some of the Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo enclosures, including the adorable snow leopard cubs, penguins, lions and giraffes. Head over to the Zoo's website to watch them live now.
