Cosmos @ Spotted Mallard - Friday 18 Oct

Heavy blues trio Cosmos say farewell with one last hurrah at The Spotted Mallard tomorrow night. They'll also be joined by Flower-Doom pioneers Turtle Skull, psychedelic dance outfit Masco Sound System, and The Hum Drums.

GL @ Howler - Friday 18 Oct

Melbourne-based electronic duo GL bring their funky soul beats to Howler this Friday night, celebrating their brand new single 'Night Habit'. This is their first headline show in over two years, so get those dancing shoes ready because you're in for a real treat. Local legends Messy Mammals, Kye and DJ Colette will also be supporting on the night.

Grapes of Mirth- Comedy and Wine in the Pyrenees @ Avoca Shire Turf Club - Sunday 20 Oct

After nine sold-out events around the country, Grapes of Mirth is heading to the Pyrenees for the first time this Sunday. Catch five of Australia's best comedians including Dave Hughes, Geraldine Hickey, Nazeem Hussain, Danielle Walker, Nath Valvo and host Merrick Watts for 6 hours of comedic gold.

Aussie punk rockers, The Chats celebrate the launch of their cracking new single Identity Theft with a killer live show at The Beery this Friday night.

OAF 12th Birthday (FREE) @ Oxford Art Factory - Saturday 19 Oct

Our very good friends at Oxford Art Factory are throwing a killer free event this Saturday to celebrate 12 years in the biz. Catch performances by two of the most exciting acts to come out of Melbourne in recent memory; funk synthesist Harvey Sutherland as well as cosmic-funk space trailblazers Mildlife. The Regime, Clypso, Soaked Oats, Demon Days, Setwun, First Beige, Cool Sounds and e4444e will also be performing on the night with local beat connoisseur Merph, Girls on Deck and Volumes spinning tunes till late.
