Get ready for Brisbane's newest one-day party and springtime oasis, Sweet Relief!

As part of Brisbane Music Trail, the dancers, DJs and artists of POOF DOOF's Pride Patrol have been announced, joining legendary electronic music titans Groove Armada, cult dance act The Avalanches, as well as Latifa Tee, Nina Las Vegas, Cut Copy, YO! Mafia and Ladyhawke at Maritime Green, Northshore on September 16 2023.

Additionally, Sweet Relief! invites festivalgoers to participate in Australia's Biggest Dress Up Contest and come on the day in their sweetest and most extraordinary getup. Whether it's otherworldly face paint, a dazzling costume, or lots of glitter, entrants are encouraged to dress how they feel. Anything goes! A celebrity panel of judges, including beloved presenter Osher Günsberg and drag superstar, Jimi The Kween will award prizes for Best Individual Costume, Best Group Theme and Best Couple Ensemble among those who walk the Academy Award-style, 360-video catwalk. Over $10,000 in prizes will be given away, including a luxury getaway to Far North Queensland tropics for four (4), four (4) nights with included flights, accommodation and experiences.

As one of the country's longest-running iconic parties, POOF DOOF Pride Patrol is your travelling queer safe space, exported directly from Australia's East Coast for their Queensland debut at Sweet Relief! Expect some of the country's best party-starting DJs, from Melbourne's Argonaut and DJ Enn, to famed queens including Beverley Kills of Rupaul's Drag Race Down Under, Ruby Slippers and Luna Thicc, popping up with unmistakably fun, colourful and inclusive performances that have community primarily at heart.
